The Apple iPhone 4 is now officially the most popular camera on flickr. And it makes sense, it’s the one that most of us have with us. Whether you want to create works of art, or capture everyday moments, (or do both!) you really can’t go wrong with the iPhone. The camera itself does not compare to a DSLR camera, like a Canon or Nikon, but what really sets it apart is the apps available to process your images.
All of my iPhoneography images, on my site, were shot and developed on the iPhone. And you can learn how to do it too!

The two-hour workshop includes:
- a pre consultation to determine what you would like to accomplish, which apps to purchase, etc.
- an agreed upon location, where there is ample photographic opportunities
- a discussion of light, composition, and other photography guidelines as we photograph our location
- guidelines to achieve the best results from the iPhone, working within it’s capabilities
- a critique/discussion of the photos taken (I can also review/provide feedback on a few of your current images before we begin)
- a follow up review (via email) of three images, to provide feedback as you as move forward with your iPhoneography
I can’t promise you that you will capture a masterpiece during the workshop, but I can promise you that if you attend with a willingness to learn, you will improve your photography. Please see my iPhoneography Gallery for examples of the type of work you can create with your iPhone and a few photography apps. Please see my Photography Packages page for workshop pricing details.
