The first image is a recent one. I thought the background pop/juice/water filled fridge would make an interesting backdrop to the candy kabobs. It was a quick grab shot…if I return to this café I might spend a bit more time on the shot next time:

Well, after 508 votes we have the top three images of 2007 as chosen by you! It was a bit of a nail bitter, between 2nd and 3rd place, as it kept going back and forth between the two. Here are the results.

There are just over 48-hours left in the contest (it closes at 5 pm on Thursday), so I thought I’d give a quick update.

Image #2 is in the lead, with 20% of the votes, followed very closely by Image #9 with 19%, Image #1 has 16% and these three images have been battling it out for first place.

In fourth place, not very far behind, is Image #7 with 15%, next is Image #4 (11%), Image #5 (10%), Image #8 (5%), Image #3 (3%) and then Image #6 (2%).

It’s not too late to totally turn this around! If you haven’t emailed everyone you know, to vote for you, there is still time.

This is a sneak peek of a session from yesterday…boy, was it hard to choose only a few favorites…as you can see by how many I posted!

This was a newborn session with the older siblings included. What beautiful fun loving children!

Maeve was such a sweet little girl! Reminded me of my daughter (when she was baby), and she is such a beautiful little baby:

Rhys was such a character! Really reminded me of my son. And look at those amazing green eyes!

Kylie was a total sweetheart, she is so beautiful, she could grow up to be a model, and such gorgeous blue eyes!

I love this one! They are actually hanging upside down, off the back of a coffee table, which is why they look a little strange, but I just love the happiness in this shot! I had such a great time with both of them!

Thank you Christa, your children are beautiful and fun! I had such a great afternoon with all of you. We started the session with a hand shake at the door, and ended it with a hug at the door. I love what I do!

Image #9 is now in the lead with 19% of the votes.
Image #1 (the comeback kid!) is second with 17%, Image #2 is third (15%), Image #5 is fourth (14%), Image #7 is not too far behind (13%), Image #4 (8%), Image #8 (7%), Image #3 (4%), and then Image #6 with 3% of the votes.

2007 was a fantastic year! I met so many great new people, and had a wonderful time at each photography session! I truly love photography, and am just as excited to get home and see the images as I’m sure my clients are to see their sneak peek, on my blog, and then their private on-line gallery. Thank you to all of you who have made my first year in business so fulfilling!

I have chosen a favorite image from each of the past year’s sessions. It wasn’t easy to pick my favorite! I could certainly never decide on my top three, so I’m going to let you make the decision for me!

Please choose your favorite image by using the poll at the end of the post. The person(s)/parents of the subject(s) featured in the top three photos will each receive one print of their winning picture! 1st place receives a 20″ x 24″ print, 2nd place a 16″ x 20″ print and 3rd place an 11″ x 14″ print.
