I’m loving my new neighborhood! I lived for many years in the Summerhill, and then the Avenue Road/Dupont area of the city, but I have now moved to Downtown East, Jarvis and Wellesley area.
It’s a more urban location with wonderful older houses and great architecture:

Mixed with some newer houses, and nice wide streets:

I’m a five minute walk from the Maple Leaf Gardens Loblaws:

The beautiful Allan Gardens is right down the street:

A great place for dog walkers:

The church steeples you can see in my “The Sky Today” blog postings:

Very close to the National Ballet School, and other beautiful business buildings:

Various buildings and restaurants in the area:

The “Friends’ Meeting House” is another cool building in the neighbourhood:

The Blake House on Jarvis:

Jarvis Collegiate Institute:

Local businesses:

A few other random shots, and the Mac’s Corner store, which is also housed in big house:

Have been switching email/web servers which has been playing havoc with my updating my blog and dealing with email. It’s still chugging away on some data, but at least I can update my blog again. 🙂
Yesterday morning:

A little later in the day:
