2007 was a fantastic year! I met so many great new people, and had a wonderful time at each photography session! I truly love photography, and am just as excited to get home and see the images as I’m sure my clients are to see their sneak peek, on my blog, and then their private on-line gallery. Thank you to all of you who have made my first year in business so fulfilling!
I have chosen a favorite image from each of the past year’s sessions. It wasn’t easy to pick my favorite! I could certainly never decide on my top three, so I’m going to let you make the decision for me!
Please choose your favorite image by using the poll at the end of the post. The person(s)/parents of the subject(s) featured in the top three photos will each receive one print of their winning picture! 1st place receives a 20″ x 24″ print, 2nd place a 16″ x 20″ print and 3rd place an 11″ x 14″ print. The poll does log IP addresses, so only one vote per computer will be counted!
For those of you appearing in the chosen photos, you are welcome to enlist friends and family to vote for your photo. Just remember that each person may only vote once. Fraudulent voting patterns will result in the photo being withdrawn from the contest.
For Torontonians who aren’t in the contest, here’s what you get for your vote—a chance to win a free photography* session with me! Here’s how it works: after you vote, leave a comment on this blog posting. I will randomly choose one person from the list of comments to receive a free photography session*.
The contest runs until 5 pm on January 17th with the results announced on my blog on January 18th.
Good luck everyone! I can’t wait to see the results!
Happy New Year!
Holly

Hi Holly,
Your Mom passed the link on to me yesterday – finally had a chance to view your photos. Old friend of the family – Joanne and Buff’s daughter form cottage times!!
This was a difficult decision – I almost picked img 2 BUT chg’d to 7 because of the feeling it portrayed. Well done – good luck this year also.
I will keep looking for future photos – they inspire me! Especially the baby shots since I’m a new grandparent.
Hugs Laurie Dalley
Amazing photos! Image #7 is my fav. I love how you captured the moment between the couple. Perfect!
Hi Holly,
A friend sent me your link. Beautiful! I will take some time this weekend to browse through the whole site. I love your work!
Regards,
Juli
We were at a party with the Thomas/Tessier clan the night before their photo session and it’s wonderful to be able to see the amazing shots you took of them. My favorite is the one you took through the crib slats as Jacques napped.
You really captured this family’s spirit.
Happy New Year!

I’m voting for #4… as a gal who loves her dad to bits, I would give anything to have had that type of picture of the two of us. What a fantastic image.
Hi
1st time on your site a friend sent it to me, the pictures you took are amazingly stunning!
Your love of photograhpy certainly shines through!
Chantal
My vote goes to image number 4. That was amazing, what a treasure moment.
Hi Holy, great pics…#7 is my favorite…
Holly – I love your work.
# 3 and 7 are my favs. I have 2 young boys and that are both ‘hams’ and you captured that spirit beautifully in #7.
I VOTE FOR 7
I voted for #7 because in this day and age of the “disposable ” relationship, you don’t see many photographs of happy, real life couples in their “middle-essence” (seemingly loving life and each other), but rather, we get subjected to unbelievable models in schmultzy jewelry chain ads and catalogs. Nice capture Holly!
Nice!
I vote for the happy couple (7) The blonde is gorgeous and should be in a toothpaste commercial. What a great smile!
i vote for 9. coz william ear’s are good….
Cute smile & a very happy face 🙂
