It has been quite snowy in Toronto for the last week, so I had some fun getting out with my iPhone 4 for some shots. (All of the following were shot and processed by the iPhone 4.)

Holly,
Congratulations!!! I just happened to notice this post and am thrilled for you. You have SUCH talent and an incredible eye for beauty in the world. How wonderful for you!
Karen
Thank you Karen!
spotted the link to these photos from your google+ account. great work. i have a question about one of them. you used the word app on a photo of city buildings and the words aren’t covering the building. how were you able to erace the words where you didn’t want them? did you layer and erase or mask? i can’t find an app that will allow me to put two of the same photos…one on top of the other and keep them in the same size. when i try blender the top image is smaller than the lower image. this is hard to explain. does it make sense to you?
Hi Linda,
I usually use FilterStorm to blend two images together, as you can mask out what you don’t want. Do you have that app?
Holly
Here’s the last of the holiday baking for this year! Noah helped me decorate, and Alice kept watch, then we packaged them up for delivery:
Later I discovered Alice in one of her new favourite snoozing spots, tucked in among napkins and plates in the sideboard in the kitchen! (Thankgoodness she is toilet trained, so I don’t need to worry about dirty paws from a litter box!) Snoozing cats are so adorable, aren’t they?
Just like last year, the holiday baking has begun! We have a bit more baking to do this weekend, but here are the first two cookie batches and links to the recipes. Enjoy!
Decided to simplify this year and made Soft and Chewy Molasses Spice Cookies rather then the Gingerbread we did last year. They are delicious! (Recipe can be found here.)
These Hot Chocolate Cookies are very yummy! I made mine a bit smaller then the original recipe, but they worked out just fine at this size:
Keeping with the baking theme, here are a few images of Rebecca’s birthday cake this year:
drooling!
Another yummy EatSavvy shoot! This month the theme was cranberries, enjoy the photos and links to the recipes!
I only had a quick taste of this but it was yummy! Chicken & Cranberry Pasta:
Delicious Grilled Chicken & Cheese Panini with Cranberry Relish:
And I couldn’t resist capturing Minnow’s dog, Kelly, with his dripping muzzle right after a big drink. Look at those soulful eyes!
