14 Years Old! (And some shots of Alice)

My daughter turned 14 this week! She’s almost as tall as me, and probably will be taller then me soon. 🙂 Took some birthday photos in the apartment driveway next door to us.

The M-Family: Toronto Family Photography

I recently had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful fun family, on the first really cold weekend of the fall season. We started outside, where we found a wonderful backdrop of still blooming flowers:

Then we moved back to the house, where it was much warmer! Isn’t Clara a cutie? Love this shot!

Mom and dad cuddle with the youngest, Natalie. Felt very much like a ‘day-in-the-life’ shoot, which was really fun!

Thank you to the M-Family for spending a wonderful few hours with me. 🙂

The T-Family: Toronto Family Photography

This was a fun shoot, and also a bit of a reunion, as I used to babysit dad Aaron many years ago!

Molly and Olivia are having their Christening this coming Sunday, so we started the shoot with everyone in their outfits for that special day:

Then off to the park for some fun! Love how cute Molly is here in her adorable sun hat:

It was really bright and sunny, so we had to work around that, the swings were a fun solution:

Love these two black & white shots of Molly, the innocence of a toddler:

While Olivia napped, Molly played on the slide with mom and dad:

We finished up at the house with a few more shots of the girls:

And then a few shots of mom, Tara, and dad, Aaron. They have been a couple since they were 16-years-old, and have an amazing relationship. They are friends, and their love for each other is so evident. It was wonderful to see and capture:

Thank you to Aaron, Tara, Molly and Olivia for a fun morning!

On the way home Noah cooled off in a sprinkler:

I LOVE this series of shots as I feel I can envision the teenager Noah is soon to become:

The next afternoon we started off with an ice cream treat, before heading back to the park:

I was showing Noah how to make a sound with a blade of grass between your hands, then he was off to ripstik some more. Rebecca left, and then returned, and Noah took another break from ripstiking:

Love these last two with the extreme backlighting:
