The H-Family: Toronto Family Photography

It was a beautiful summer day in May, and I had a super fun family session last week with Lauren, Murray and their Mom & Dad.

(See “My Camera Equipment” in footer section for links/more information on camera equipment used. Primarily used the Canon 1DMkIV and the Canon 85mm f1.2L lens in the following images.)

Isn’t Lauren simply adorable? Those blue eyes, and blond ringlets, LOVE this shot:

Big brother Murray is blond and blue-eyed too!:

We started the session walking to the local park:

We finished up back at the house, how could I resist getting some shots of Murray in his cool bedroom? I couldn’t!

Maybe some parents wouldn’t be keen on this image, but I think it’s adorable, and would be guaranteed to take you back to that time in your children’s life:

Miles, the Adorable Toddler: Toronto Family Photography

As promised, my larger sneak peek of the adorable toddler Miles. Laura, Miles’ mom, has captured her older daughters in photographs when they each turned one year old, and now it is Mile’s turn. It’s a wonderful age to capture, as they grow so quickly, and change so fast!

(Equipment Used: The following were captured with the Canon EOS-1D MarkIV and the Canon 85 f1.2L lens—in some of the shots, from this shoot, I also used my Canon 580EX II Speedlite.)

Miles has a wonderful little room right off mom and dad’s room:

Miles loves playing in his sisters’ room, with the windows all around it was a perfect spot for photographs:

Look at those blue eyes! Aren’t they amazing? (Shot with the Canon 5D and the Canon 100 mm f2.8 macro lens.)

I can never resist bathtub photos! The water accentuates the eyelashes, which really makes Miles’ beautiful eyes pop. (Next three images were taken with the Canon EOS-1D MarkIV and the Canon 24–70 mm f2.8L lens.)

Always love the snuggling in the towel after the bath shots too!

Can’t wait to go back and photograph Miles with his two older sisters! Laura and I are hoping for some snow, but I don’t know if Mother Nature will co-operate this winter! Fingers are crossed for a fun snowy shoot Laura! 🙂

Sneak-Sneak Peek: Toronto Family Photographer

The P & S Family: Family Photography, Toronto, Ontario

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Cole (who is just so adorable!) and his Mom and Dad. Dad had bought Mom a photography gift certificate for their recent anniversary—what a wonderful idea for an anniversary gift!

(Equipment Used: For those who are interested, I shot primarily with the Canon 85 f1.2L lens and the Canon 24–70 mm f2.8L lens.)

The shoot was scheduled for first thing on Saturday morning, which was very fortunate given the weather for the rest of the weekend! I think we broke a record for the amount of rain that weekend!

We decided to stick close to home and do the session at locations where they regularly spend time as a family, here’s the happy family:
