A bit of catch up with some recent shots today. All were taken with my beloved Canon 85 f1.2L lens, really thinking I need to give some of my other lenses some loving next time I go out!
Noah, under the same bridge as before:
We stopped in at a local shop to pick up some fish for dinner, caught Noah in some nice window light:
Paused long enough for me to capture this shot:
Then off he ran ahead of me to the Spotted Zebra (same store we visited in the previous blog posting):
And he added two more rubber frogs to his collection:
Then, on the weekend, we went down to the St. Lawrence Market:
Noah discovered the joy of pigeon chasing:
One of the MANY pigeons:
Rebecca enjoys some chocolate milk as part of her afternoon snack:
Noah got a lot of exercise running after the pigeons:
At one point one flew up onto a light:
He kept an eye on it:
And tried to coax it down:
Now, just let me assure everyone NO PIGEONS were harmed! He didn’t get that close to them, even though it looks like he did!
Think I will have to do a family or couple shoot down at the market, it’s a rather cool location, with some older buildings that would be fun for backgrounds too.
After hanging out at the St. Lawrence Market until almost closing time (BTW, in case you didn’t know, some of the stores have a big sell off at the end of day Saturday), we went to Guildwood Park, which I’ve never been to before. Boy, I sure wish I could bottle this kids’ energy! As you can see Noah was still running and jumping!
Here he was triumphed from throwing a rock or stick, I’m not sure what his goal was!
I saw a bit of a rise in the path and had him run back and jump, but he only did it once so this what the best image I captured:
Just when the kids decided that they had had enough, and wanted to go home, they then decided to start digging in the dirt, we didn’t leave for another 15β20 minutes:
Love this smily shot of Rebecca, even though something (sun flare? object in front of lens?) distorted it a bit in the middle, love the backlighting:
On the way back to the car Noah let out a real, out-of-control, laugh, love it!
Noah was ready for bed EARLY that night, after all that exercise and fresh air I can’t say I was surprised! π
