Funny how you mark the months before the first birthday. Alice turned six months old yesterday, no longer a kitten (sniff), but a beautiful young cat.

Happy and excited about the arrival of my new Canon EOS-1D MarkIV camera! Brought it along to dinner at my mother’s to test it out photographing her dog, cat and the yummy dessert the kids and I brought. Finish up the blog post with some beautiful shots of my cat, Alice.
Thrilled to be included in the Lensbaby Honorable Mention Gallery, plus photos of the fabric my daughter will be using on upcoming sewing projects, and a couple of photos of Alice (the cat).
