Wow! Didn’t realize I was so far behind in posting some images!
This one is from about two weeks ago, out and about running some errands:

We stopped by the local vet’s to visit kittens, again:

This past Sunday, once we determined that the weather was going to hold, we decided to make use of a free family pass to Centreville on Centre Island. Here’s a shot of Rebecca on the ferry on the way over to the Island:

Rebecca and Noah exit the Haunted Barrel Works ride at Centreville:

Rebecca on the Log Flume Ride:

Rebecca and Noah enjoying the roller coaster:

During dinner Noah was creating steam from his iced drink, can you see it?

Here Rebecca holds up what Noah choose to get instead of dessert, and funnily enough he named this little guy “Dessert”!

“Dessert” even went for a ride with Noah, see him there? They both had a great time! 😉

At 8:15 pm we caught the ferry back to the mainland, I caught this shot of the skyline:

Then this shot of Rebecca with the skyline in the background:

And who could resist shooting this sky? Beautiful colour and amazing cloud formation as well!

Noah, with Rebecca in the background:

On Monday afternoon we went to the park and I caught this shot of ‘Maggie’s’ nose:

Here is Maggie, a 9-year-old Golden Retriever that Rebecca just LOVES, she is a very sweet dog:

Maggie’s paws:

One more of Maggie:

Rebecca against the fence at the baseball diamond:

As we were leaving the park the children pointed out a beautiful sunflower right beside the school:

On Tuesday we went for haircuts, here is the after of Rebecca:

And here is the after of Noah, isn’t that a great haircut? 😉

And one more of Rebecca, who was happy to show off her new do:

That’s all for the moment!
Kids and I went to the park for a bit last Monday. Our second trip to the wading pool this summer…but no bunnies this time.
Noah is enjoying his swimming goggles this summer:

Rebecca, wet from the wading pool:

I thought I’d do some lensbaby shooting, since I haven’t shot with it much lately:

Sunflower, that I saw over a fence, so was a bit tricky to shoot…especially with the lensbaby!

Rebecca, with that lensbaby blur:

We came back home and I caught this quick shot of Rebecca while I BBQ’d some sausage for dinner:

After dinner we went back to the park for scootering and skateboarding:

Noah hanging upsidedown from the monkey bars:

Almost home, and caught this shot of Noah with his scooter. I didn’t notice, at the time, what appears to be a reflection on the sidewalk from the lights hitting his scooter…which is the only thing I can think that it could be (???):

Yesterday an old friend from high school was dropping by for a very quick photo, the kids helped me test out the light in the front hallway:

Then Diane arrived and I caught this beautiful shot of her. You may remember her from an earlier blog post as well:

Ok, so I’m caught up for the moment, but sure to have some images from the weekend to share soon! Bye for now!
Last Sunday the children and I went with a friend to Kensington Market and met up with a new friend, Jane, and her two children Henry and Sadie. The weather was perfect!
Since it is such a colourful location I decided to really punch the colours up, for fun, in most of the photos.
Here Rebecca holds up a massive sweet potato from one of the outdoor stalls:

Noah watches over Henry as he examines displayed jewelry:

Rebecca also was very good at watching over Henry, as they make their way along the busy sidewalk:

Henry watches his sister in the distance:

We stop for a quick lunch break:

This puppet fellow was so funny! The kids had a great time watching him. Noah was so great with Henry, taking care of him and holding him up to see:

Rebecca, Sadie and Henry check out the puppet:

Noah gets up close and personal with the puppet:

Jane and her kids went home, as it was getting to be nap time, wish they could have stayed for SnoKones…

…and especially the bubbles!

Rebecca takes a break from window shopping, and the bubbles:

So much colour in Kensington Market! Really need to do a couple or a family shoot here I think!

More bubbles!

Noah has a meat paddy for a snack as Rebecca looks on:

Even though he has meat paddy crumbs on his face and shirt, I just LOVE the catch lights in his eyes in this shot:

Will definitely head back to Kensington Market again in the future!
As promised yesterday, here’s another blog post.
I did some shooting down in the Distillery District recently, so thought I would share a few images. Please let me know if you’d like to do a family/couple/pet photography session here, I think it would be a fabulous location!

For a change we tried shooting in the harsh sunlight to see how it would turn out, we then used this same location later in the day as well:

What a difference a few hours makes in the lighting! These images, taken later in the day, have a much softer quality both in the light and the colour.
